Lisa Friedland - Community Outreach Co-Chair

Lisa is a Founding Director and Advisory Board member of A Better Chance of Westport She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Charter Oak Foundation. She is a member of the Anti Defamation League Education Committee and a recipient of the ADL's Distinguished Community Leadership Award. As chair of Temple Israel's Social Action Committee Lisa's volunteer work included: Mitzvah Day, Bridgeport Habitat for Humanity, Evergreen Network, the Gillespie Center, the Holiday Toy Drive and Adopt a Family Program. Lisa and her dog Minnie are certified by the Good Dog Foundation as a therapy team and they currently volunteer at Norwalk Hospital.

Lisa, a retired attorney, grew up in Manhattan. She and her husband Ed have live in Westport and have three grown sons.

Lynn Goldberg - Director and Chair of Westport Human Services Commission

Lynn Graham Goldberg has served as chair of the Westport Human Services Commission for the past four years. Previously, she was President of Friends of the Westport Library. Lynn received the Westport Library Special Friends Award in 2011. Earlier, she served on the finance committee at the Harriett Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford Connecticut. Recently, she was a mentor to senior girls as part of the "Women of the World" pilot program at Brown University.

Lynn graduated from Brown University and received an MBA from Columbia Business School. Prior to moving to Westport, Lynn was an adjunct professor of math at American University in Washington DC and worked for Wharton Ecomometrics. She has since started a private mathematics tutoring company. A pianist, she has performed with the Silvermine School of Music's Duo Piano group.

Lynn and her husband Tom have lived in Westport for the past 23 years, raising three children. Now that the children are grown, they live with their black lab Daisy

Bob Fox - Treasurer

Bob Fox graduated from NYU with a degree in Industrial Engineering and spent five years in a production environment with a steel company and with General Motors as an engineer and assembly line foreman. After returning to Stanford University for graduate school where he received a Masters in Engineering Economic Analysis, he pursued a career in corporate finance, working for Xerox, CBS, and Dun & Bradstreet.

Currently Bob is a member of the Board of Directors of Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut, serving on the Finance and Audit and Long Range Planning Committees. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of Planetree, an organization which has created a structured process for medical caregivers to deliver patient-centered care.

Bob and his wife Lois have been Westport residents for thirty-six years.

Judith Dommu Guthman is a Founder and Current Director of ITNCoastalCT. She also serves on the Westport Human Services Commission. Previously she worked for the US Departments of Education and Labor. She also helped develop and secure Federal funding for a Concentrated Employment Program for the city of Minneapolis. After moving to Connecticut she worked for the Norwalk Community College non-credit department and managed its growth from 15 to 400 programs, assisting individuals to both move into entry-level jobs and to advance in their careers.

Judith received her AB from Mount Holyoke College and her MA from the University of Minnesota. She has been active in the Mount Holyoke Club of Greater Bridgeport and was a mentor at Harding High School for four years.

Judith is married, the mother of two terrific and talented children and the grandmother of three marvelous boys.

Maybeth graduated from Rutgers University (Douglass College) in 1961 with a degree in English. Much of her working life has been with special populations. A job placing the physically handicapped in competitive industry was followed by raising a family which coincided with a newly developed passion for horticulture. As a horticultural therapist working with developmentally challenged adults she also developed programs for seniors. She recently retired from Westport's Department of Human Services where she worked with seniors for twelve years. As the town's Municipal Agent for the Elderly she was in daily contact with the needs of seniors, transportation issues being one of the major challenges. She has been thrilled to work with and cheer on the energetic volunteers who have brought ITNCoastalCT into a reality.

When Peggy and family moved to Westport, CT in 1988 she was working for IBM as a Systems Engineer. In 1990 she "retired" from IBM to raise her children and that's when she moved from full-time "paid" worker to full-time "volunteer" worker. Her volunteer work has spanned the spectrum including: PTA's, Westport Young Woman's League, A Better Chance of Westport, Mercy Learning Center, Staples High School Tuition Grants and now ITNCoastalCT. Peggy has taken a leadership role in many of these organizations and has brought her knowledge of technology, non-profits, and the community to each of them.

Peggy grew up in Racine, WI where some of her family still resides. She is excited that there is an ITNRacineCounty so her father can use this wonderful service.

Leslie has a BS in Quantitative Management Science from the University of Florida. She is active in the community having volunteered with Staples High School Tuition Grants, Westport Department of Human Services, Grassroots Tennis, and serves as a Board Member of the Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities. She lives in Westport with her husband and has four grown children.

Cathy Diamond leads the Executive Compensation function for Xerox Corporation. She is responsible for the design, delivery and administration of compensation and benefits programs for Xerox executives including global equity programs, short-term incentives, pension benefits and perquisites; the development of all meeting materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors; and related executive compensation disclosures in the annual proxy statement.

Cathy directed Health, Welfare and Work/Life Programs for Xerox salaried, union and retired employees prior to her current assignment. She joined Xerox in 1996 and managed the Compensation and Succession Planning programs for corporate staff and the company's International Assignments department. Cathy came to Xerox following eight years as a Vice President at Citibank. While at Citibank, she helped to create a national search and staffing department and managed various HR functions in both the Corporate and Private Bank. Prior to Citibank, Cathy worked at Arthur Andersen, Westvaco and the Stern Graduate School of Business in a variety of HR positions that included generalist, staffing manager, affirmative action manager and career counselor.

Cathy holds a Masters degree in Counseling from James Madison University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Cathy resides in Westport, Connecticut with her son, daughter and husband.

Mary Ellen, a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a BS in Psychology, retired after 11 years as the Director of Westport’s Academy of Dance. Prior to 1986 she pursued a career in Human Resources specializing in Compensation and Strategic Planning for companies such as The First National Bank of Chicago, Beatrice Foods, Household International, and Accenture. Prior to joining the ITNCoastalCT board in March of 2012, Mary Ellen worked extensively with local volunteer and not-for profit organizations including Westport PTA, Westport Young Woman’s League, Westport Country Playhouse, Westport Historical Society and the Penn State University Parents Advisory Board.

Mary Ellen and her husband Jim have one daughter, are members of the Green’s Farms Congregational Church, and reside in Westport, Ct.

Graduated from University of Maryland with BS in Nursing; MA in counseling from Fairfield University. Have worked in all aspects of health care from hospital to research to, presently, home care. Coordinator of Homebound Health Care Check for Westport, CT and visiting nurse with Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County. Became interested in ITN through patient need, and became a driver before joining the board.

Sue L. Pfister, MSW
Director and Director of Westport Center for Senior Activities

Sue Pfister is the Director of the Westport Center for Senior Activities. Sue has been employed with the Town of Westport for 25 years and is very active in the community. She is Chairwoman of the Senior Nutrition Program of Catholic Charities; Advisory Council member of the Southwestern CT Area Agency on Aging; board member of LINKS of Westport/Weston; board member of the Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities and a volunteer driver for ITNCoastalCT.

Ms. Pfister received her MSW from Fordham University and her BSW from Sacred Heart University. In her spare time, Sue enjoys playing softball, gardening and spending time with her family.
